Our playgroup aims to allow children ages 0-4 to have fun, play and make new friends in a relaxed, informal environment. Parents can mingle and socialize and hopefully see these gatherings as a means towards which friendships can be built.
NOTE: Preschool children must be potty trained to participate in the following programs and mothers are encouraged to drop off their child.
Let's Go Camping!

This is designed to capture the fun and excitement of real outdoor camping. We will sing songs and have stories around a pretend campfire and maybe even have a scavenger hunt, craft and even make S'mores around the campfire.
Treasure Hunt at the Park

Maureen will prepare clues and a creative map for the kids to find the treasures. Working together will encourage group cooperation, problem solving, and following directions. This treasure hunt is great fun and teaches your preschooler some good skills.

Exploring Science and Nature

Let's explore nature and science together. We will take hikes outside while looking for fun things like animal tracks, where animals live, why are the leaves falling and other interesting nature facts. We will do science experiments that will be fun as well as educational.

Sign up your kids to enjoy a little time in the kitchen with Maureen while making simple recipes.
Kids will learn to measure, count, and work cooperatively in a group. We will be making yummy desserts to eat and hopefully some to take home. There will be no cooking involved.

What a wonderful way to introduce your preschooler to safety. Join Maureen Asher who will educate your child about safety. We will also cover fire, bike, personal, and traffic safety plus stranger danger and some basic concepts for children such as hand washing, water safety and calling 911.
Costume Fun Time

Celebrate the Holiday Season with us. We will learn about different Holiday customs from around the world. We will explore how certain customs got started, like decorating evergreens and hanging our stockings on the mantel. This parent assisted tumbling class is for children ages 2 to 3. Kids will learn basic motor skills, somersaults, walking across the balance beam, parachute play, and more. Kids will learn basic motor skills, learn how to follow instructions, make friends, and have a great time. Wear comfortable clothing and bare feet. This class is taught by a talented and experienced instructor from Dance Etc.

This 30-minute parent-assisted dance class is for children ages 2-3. For the child who is just not quite ready to leave mom or dad for the entire class. Parents will be assisting their children as they learn simple dances, basic motor skills, and fun activities. Watch your little ballerina twirl, gallop, jump and have a ball!!
